Floating transhipment at the Cuxport Terminal
CUXHAVEN. The “Rolldock Sea”, a semi-submersible vessel flying the Dutch flag, arrived at the Cuxport Terminal in Cuxhaven on 15 November. The semi-submersible vessel took on board the “Gian Lorenzo Bernini” backhoe dredger there and is now transporting it to Mozambique.

Cuxport handles thousands of new cars for the Chinese market

Cuxport loaded more than 3,500 premium vehicles on board the “Tiger” and “Torino” vessels for the deep-sea RoRo scheduled services operated by the Wallenius-Wilhelmsen Group from Europe to China at the beginning of November. The handling procedures took place at the terminal’s berth 4 within just one week.

Within just one year, the idea of the CEO of the MOSOLF Group, Dr. Jörg Mosolf, to export vehicles from Wilhelmshaven by seagoing ship has become a reality: On Saturday, the GRANDE PORTOGALLO, the first ship of the Italian Grimaldi Group, moored at the MOSOLF Auto Terminal Wilhelmshaven to load around 600 vehicles.
