Trouble-free handling in Cuxhaven despite the COVID-19 pandemic and Brexit
CUXHAVEN, January 28, 2021 – From February 1, the Danish shipping company and HWG member DFDS is expanding its schedule for regular freight traffic between Cuxhaven and Immingham to include a further departure to a total of six weekly ship calls. Thanks to unaccompanied transports, the route via Cuxhaven is proving to be robust despite the COVID-19 pandemic and Brexit, so that handling at the Cuxport terminal for transports to the United Kingdom can be carried out without any disruption.
With the additional departure on Wednesday, the route from deep-sea port of Cuxhaven in NIedersachsen will in future operate from Monday to Saturday. In addition to the additional departure, the timetable structure will also be adapted and tailored even more closely to the needs of customers.
